For Inspire Me Thursday - "Papercut":
... draw inspiration from papercutting, the art of cutting paper designs
Not sure I did this "correctly" :) but hey it's my interpretation and I did cut out figures ;)

Originally, this was supposed to be much more light and fun, but then the queen stepped in and took over completely, having all the fun herself, as queens tend to do - and keep in mind, this is a rock queen :)

For Inspire Me Thursday - "Storyteller".

This prompt had me thinking about women and our histories, the difficulties to tell those stories in our own words, since there has always been and always seem to be Someone Else to tell them - or ignore them. Also inspired by the Dixie Chicks documentary "Shut Up and Sing"

Suck, detta halsband är helt omöjligt att fotografera - måste förklaras (för att inte tala om ses)! De små pärlorna är genomgående trädda silver och petroleumblå om vartannat. Sötvattenspärlorna är mörkt silverblågråa. Rektangeln (snäckskal) skiftar i grått och petroleumblå. Glashängena längst ned är mörkblåa. Det ligger mycket tanke och jobb (pärlorna jäklades med mig hela tiden) bakom detta halsband, därav namnet.

Jag vet att jag tjatar om att "måste ses IRL", men det ÄR verkligen så i det här fallet :) En detalj som helt försvinner är att jag har varvat silverfärgade respektive blåsilverfärgade rocaillepärlor (de små pärlorna) mellan de stora pärlorna - ett himla piller att göra men väl värt mödan då det ger liv åt halsbandet. Ordningen silver/blått vänder samtidigt med ordningen halvädelsten/sötvatten. Som sagt, ett himla piller med detta halsband, men jag är så nöjd! :) *peppar peppar ta i kreativitetsträ*
